　　Cause 1: Welding quality. Oil-immersed transformer housings consist of welded and joined steel plates. Due to the long welding seam and more welding joints, the welding process requires higher requirements. Affected by the external environment,temperature, technology, welding materials, steel plate and other factors, sometimes the welding quality is not good,resulting in weld cracks and sand holes and other phenomena, which is one of the main reasons for oil leakage of oil-immersedtransformers.

　　Reason 2: sealing quality. The selection of transformer sealing type and sealing material is the main reason for poor sealing quality. When the sealing quality of the transformer is insufficient, oil leakage may occur during use.

　　Reason 3: seal aging. Affected by weather, environment, oil corrosion and other factors, the seal aging of oil-immersed transformers is also one of the main reasons for oil leakage from oil-immersed transformers. In addition, other reasons including lack of routine maintenance during use and failure to deal with minor problems found in a timely manner may also lead to oil leakage of oil-immersed transformers.
