Galaxy Z Fold 6 vs. Pixel 9 Pro Fold: Three-Month Performance

Its Galaxy Z Fold 6 is all about screens. This is obvious because the internal size screen sets it apart from standard phones.

But cell phones, especially flip phones, can do a lot of things, from taking photos to playing music and videos online. Three months after its launch the review of 1900 euros will only strengthen the idea of those who want to use a phone with up to two screens on the same screen.

Its top priority is making sure the software can run on the home screen in any position, which is the 6 fold’s biggest advantage over the $1799 fold. The new version of its foldable phone is better than the original in almost every aspect. However, Samsung is still very good at optimizing apps to fit the screen when folded in half, which can change when you use the phone in different positions.

Overall, I feel the same way I did when I first reviewed it in July. This phone’s software and clean screen make it one of the best files you can buy if you can handle the extremely high prices.

Its biggest advantage compared to the Pixel 9 Pro

Its internal display may be larger than the but in my opinion, it ensures better that the applications are folded onto the screen at an angle of 90°. This is important because one of the biggest advantages of foldable phones is that, because of the foldable screen and hinges, you can pick up the phone without a stand.

When the display is displayed as a laptop, some applications such as the camera and video streaming applications can be moved to the top half of the display. (He calls it desktop mode, she calls flexible mode), but most apps aren’t like that. Instead, they cascade across the screen, which isn’t the best viewing experience.

Compared to can decompose any application in this way. Even better, you can use the bottom of the screen as a touchpad to locate the top of the screen. For me, it seems useful to manage or use as a thumbnail screen without a phone, so that I can chat with friends in groups via and office chat. I work all day.

Don’t get me wrong. Buying a foldable phone just isn’t enough. Instead, this is the answer to the collapse problem. But I think it has at least achieved that, so you don’t have to worry about whether the app will work properly when using the Fold 6. That’s why I chose it over the Pixel 9 Pro.

Need more Galaxy AI

Samsung debuted it in July, introducing a number of new features to the devices that include turning self-portraits into AI-generated art, creating beautiful images from sketches, and using two screens 6 to instantly translate conversations into the real world.

The diploma also supports the previous features that let you delete or manipulate objects in photos, translate messages and phones, simply circle objects to start searching, and summarize, modify and translate notes.

Unfortunately, I found myself not using these skills in my daily life. When I first got the Z Fold 6, its studio portrait was fun to play with, but the novelty wore off quickly. Many of its features claim to be suitable for specific conditions, such as photo editing and language translation, rather than changing everyday experiences.

Today’s release may just be the beginning. But in the future, I hope Samsung will find a faster and easier way to work than using professional tools. Circle in Search lets you search for almost anything on your phone screen, which is a great example of the direction I hope to see, not just its AI, but all future AI based on your mobile phone.

I’m also very grateful to Samsung for allowing you to turn off cloud computing for those who wish to keep it private. If cloud editing is disabled, consider features such as Password (which writes text and emails for you), Image Sketch (create images based on sketches), and Circle in Search (cloud-based), which it will limit the experience. However, if you are not interested in using these features and want more peace of mind, then there is a master switch that can be used.

Long battery life, foldable and illuminated

Like last year’s Diplomat 5, the Diplomat 6 performed well in video streaming tests, which is good news as entertainment is what big screens are designed for. After fully playing the video on the 7.6-inch home screen for three hours, its battery level dropped to 82%.

It’s almost on par with the Galaxy Z’s 5th block, which dropped 86% in the same test, better than its 9th block, which dropped 76%. A phone that doesn’t fold as it performs better (89%) but not significantly.

Its phones are known for their bright displays, which is no different from the Galaxy Z Fold 6. Although its internal displays look the same in plenty of sunlight (which is surprising as I’ve found older phone displays to be a bit blurry), phones are at more than half brightness indoors. To me, this is more instructive because it represents situations where people can use their phones more often.

When it comes to foldable phones, design is more important than usual. In this case, Samsung significantly improved it to cover a more symmetrical and structurally lighter screen. But not to be left behind, the company made significant modifications to its foldable phone, making it more useful, attractive and equipped with a larger screen than the first generation.

Which design you like depends on your preference, although I think Google usually wins. The phones have a wider screen that looks like a regular phone when turned off and provides more space to use apps without turning on the device. Its screen is thinner and may not look natural, but it may be better for users with small hands.

Her phone is also flatter than her tablet, and when you touch a table or surface, it feels more like a tablet. You can still see the wrinkles on both phones, although they’re not always apparent when looking directly at the screen.

The camera is beautiful, but not always on par with Google

Its camera system includes a 50-megapixel main camera, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 10-megapixel phone camera, which is used to take clear and vivid photos. Compared to the seat box it has a 48 main camera, a 10.5 ultra wide camera and a 10.8 phone camera which is successful but still lags behind depending on the situation.

It performs best when taking color photos of still objects and landscapes, with zoom photos looking sharper than those on its phones. Take a look at the photo taken at 20x zoom below and see what I mean. Its image noise is much less and you can easily see the separation between the bricks.

But the immortal photos of my people, whether they are portraits taken at night and on sunny days, or photos of a group of friends chatting in a dark bar, are better than those taken with a phone. My friend Randy’s photo is an example. Although it is a little more yellow than Google, I think this photo is more vivid.

Of course, mobile photography can be subjective. Some people may prefer natural photos, while others prefer colors.

I would not use that as a basis for my comparisons. However, looking back at the Galaxy, it is hard to ignore a particular facet of the device which in my opinion could be one of the toughest hurdles for Samsung. For me it’s folded in order to allow all the apps to fit once on the screen’s shell making the outlook of it more appealing. But depending on your choice, it would be the fashion design and the vast screen that is of more importance to it also gives the power for it.

The real question is can you ever fold it 100 times more than a pixel 9 pro. Both of them are rather expensive devices so it would be in your best interests to weigh out all the factors which mean a lot to you in the phone as it would be an expensive purchase. Probably if you usually use a device called Foldable 6 and expect other applications to work properly on it, then Foldable 7 is the right choice. But for a much wider screen scope a chair would get more content out of you.

Nevertheless, its unveiling seems to bring to life what I find very exciting about the fusion of mobile products and the direction it can take. With the last one, however, I still feel a desire to spot more galaxies. Moreover, the overhead pricing of Z-6 grades remains unreasonable till now.

I have no idea if Samsung will cut the price of the Galaxy Z Fold 6. However I do believe that Galaxy AI is still in its infancy.
