What’s the best TV right now?
In this year’s sea of TV options, the series replaced the TCL 6 series at the top of the list for a number of reasons. It offers superior overall picture quality, all the features required for a modern TV, including input 4 and a variable refresh rate that can be fully benefited from consoles like the series and series and at an affordable price. When a friend asked me what 65-98 inch TV to buy, I told him the TCL QM8 series.
With the holidays quickly approaching, there are plenty of other great TVs to choose from from popular brands like Roku. While the QM8 is my favorite, it may not suit your tastes or budget.

Better overall TV
TCL QM8
TCL has topped the best TV list for the past few years, but the QM8 is different and even better than before. In my comparison tests, it stands out with excellent brightness and impact while maintaining excellent contrast: a combination that no other TV can match at this price. The key lies in mini-LED technology and well-implemented full-range local lighting settings. It also has a sleek design and central support. The OS is Google TV, and I’m not a fan of the Roku TVS, but it’s still a solid smart TV. Its main drawback is that it is only available in large sizes (65 inches and above). If you are looking for a 55-inch TV, I recommend the Hisense U8K. Please note that the price shown here is for the 65-inch range.
The best 55-inch TV
Hisense U8K
If you’re looking for the best TV deal and it’s pretty big, this should be your favorite. I compared the two TVs side-by-side, and while I preferred the QM8, the U8K has a middle ground: a 55-inch screen option. If 65 inches is too big for your room, budget or taste, then the choice between the two is simple: buy the 55 inches.

It has better picture quality than any TV not on this list, it’s more expensive, and it’s still not expensive. Its perfect black levels, unmatched contrast and excellent bean viewing angle put it a step above the mini model in my comparison tests, and while its overall brightness isn’t quite as impressive, it still delivers incredible performance in all kinds of room lighting . The 4-series TV’s picture quality was impressive in our budget TV test. However, as a more affordable TV, the Series 4 lacks some features such as connectivity and variable refresh rate.
The main advantage of the Series 4 is that it has a built-in smart TV system, which makes it a great choice for those looking for a one-stop smart TV solution without the need to add an external streaming device.

Its matte surface not only reduces reflections, almost eliminating them, but also improves picture quality in bright rooms better than any TV we’ve tested. Some models that aren’t have matte screens, but this is the first time they’ve featured a screen technology that always gives the best picture. Vizio Quantum Pro
In our years of testing, the TVs have produced very good picture quality without breaking the bank. It continues that trend: it’s a solid mid-range TV option, but it has some notable drawbacks.
In a side-by-side comparison in our lab, it offers good value for money, for example, with better contrast than the series at a similar price. On the other hand, as expected, slightly more expensive models like the Hisense U8K are better and brighter
